Rockstar says that GTA Online’s Halloween Surprise content is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One (Rockstar has ended last-gen support) from now until November 16, at which point its contents won’t be available for purchase in the game, though they will stay in players’ inventories if they’ve already bought them. And it won’t require any additional downloads from players either as the data for it was included in the Lowriders update....

For the uninitiated, like many other games under the Rockstar Games umbrella, Grand Theft Auto Online gives players control over whether they decide to do a little good or a little bad to rival players in its sprawling world. Fortunately, those who’d rather sit out this decision can switch to passive mode, which makes them invincible. However, this is not always possible and leaves the player as a sitting duck for a griefer....

Rescue personnel were deployed from the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) Plettenberg Bay station on Wednesday shortly after 10 a.m. after an eyewitness report of a shark targeting a person in waters off Natures Valley, a holiday resort along the southern Cape coast. Station commander Marc Rodgers said the victim—Theodore Prinsloo of Wellington—was on a trip with his family at the time, DispatchLive reported.
